Session Investment Guide
FAQ
I. What kind of sessions do you offer?
I currently offer a range of different sessions from Maternity, Milestone, Family, Senior Portraits, Graduation, Engagements and Anniversaries.
II. What is your pricing structure and when can we expect to see our gallery?
I require a nonrefundable $60 retainer fee. The retainer fee will then be applied toward your balance and a signed contract to reserve my time and creative energy as we plan the vision of your session. Your contract will state this but, after the session is complete, your gallery will be ready within 2-4 weeks. All digital images and print products are purchased á la carte so that your package is tailored to your individual needs. (Model calls do not have a dedicated time frame and are completed as time follows).
III. What should we wear?
Wardrobe is VERY important considering the overall aesthetic of your images. After you book a session, I provide a custom wardrobe consultation to each of my clients. This guide includes colors that look good for my editing/creative style. I also have a client closet with beautiful dresses that fit a wide range of sizes. Additionally, I love getting to help style each member of the family and create a custom style board for my more visual clients. I highly suggest following the color pallet for your session as these colors photograph well.
IV. Should I get my hair and makeup done?
Yes! Most definitely. You’ve invested in beautiful photos, so make the most of it and pamper yourself. You’re not going to look back at your images and wish you didn’t have your hair and makeup done. *Hair and Makeup referral upon request.
V. Do you have props?
I truly believe in the beauty in simplicity. I usually bring a quilt to family sessions. For the little ones, it all depends on the theme we are going with. I usually bring along a cake stand, stool, basket etc. In my pre-session questionnaire, you will help me tell your story and what you may want to incorporate into your session ( For example: A cake and balloons, a violin, a guitar etc). Not to worry, this will be discussed well before your session to make your vision come true.
